Yesterday was Mikel's company picnic. Every year, it is a race to see if he can collect enough meal tickets for our adult kids from fellow employees who don't plan to attend. As usual, he was able to collect enough. The food is always plentiful and terrific! This year, there were burgers and bbqued chicken, salads, corn on the cobb, and baked beans. And then there are the never ending hotdogs, strawberry shortcake, cotton candy, ice cream, elephant ears and soda pop. The kids nibble off the adult plates, and then go for the good stuff. Usually, the adults just let the kids "have at it", and enjoy a day of goodies. It won't kill them...right?...and just look at these happy little faces!
(Javen and Gordon sharing ice cream)

There were rides to be ridden...

...walls to be climbed...
(Sarah made it to the top...)

(so did Roy'l...)

(and Kyle made it to the top also...)

...animals to be petted...

...and bouncy things to be...well...bounced upon...

...and the cutest little face that waited in a long line to be painted!

...at the end of the day, there were happy faces...

...and some "other" faces...

How can we not love this group?

That's so great that Uncle Mikel is able to score tickets for you all. Looks like lots of fun and the stuff that memories are made of. Love from Texas to you all.
