Just Hanging Out at Nana and Papa's!

I love spending time with my grand kids. I mean I LOVE spending time with them, especially when it's just one or two at a time. We spend time snuggling, playing "Granny" on the computer, baking or reading, playing games or building blocks, or just sitting in the same room staring at each other. I have a basket of soft blankets behind my couch that the kids just love to grab and snuggle watching a movie or listening to a story. (Don't tell anyone, but Papa and I have both been known to snuggle up in those soft blankets for a short little snooze before Papa heads off to work in the afternoons.)

One afternoon, Eddie needed some "Nana" time. Being the middle child, he gets lost between his big sister and his little brother. (Papa and I are both middle children also, so we understand that placement in the family.) An hour or two usually does it, then he's ready to go join in whatever is happening at home. But while he was here, he enjoyed Carmel Cornpuffs and watched the movie of his choice.

KaeLynn is another one who loves to snuggle at Nana's house. She makes her "nest" on the couch and will stay there for long periods of time...as long as she has her blankie and her thumb...and Nana's soft blanket, she is a happy little girl!

I know I have more pictures of more of the kids with Nana's soft blankets, but I can't put my hands on them right now. Let's just say, that Nana's soft blanket is well loved...and so are our 7 precious grand kids!
