Saturday in the Snow

Last Sat. the kids wanted to go up to Lake Merwin to play in the snow. The snow had been almost 3 feet deep, but had melted down to just over a foot deep. I wasn't going to go but was talked into it to see the grandkids have fun. I'm glad I went. The kids had so much fun until they got wet and cold. Fortunately, it was rather warm outside but once I got chilled, I stayed inside, wrapped in a blanket infront of the heater, reading my book or entertaining the little ones. The big kids...well, I'll let the pictures tell the story!

When I asked Eddie today if he had fun last Sat., his words were...
"It was so fun! It was great!"

It was nice to have a little camp where we could warm up after we played. Another reason why I love Lake Merwin!

What a nice way to enjoy the snow without dealing with the crowds up on the mountain. You even got to enjoy your campfire. Pretty nice. Glad you all had a nice time.
