I will post pictures all together at the end of each post since that is how it comes out when printed off in book form anyhow.
Labor Day weekend has come and gone, so that means summer is soon to end also...sigh...
It seems it was late in arriving so maybe the weather will hang out a bit longer.
The weather was glorious for the long weekend. All of us arrived at Lake Merwin on Friday. Sat was spent on or around the lake. We set up our little "day camp" area and had fun watching the kids play in the shallow water while some of the big kids played on the Seadoo or in the boat. One thing that is important to learn....shallow water and rocks are not good for a propeller! yep...the boat prop got damaged so we were grounded for the rest of the weekend...bigger sigh....
Sarah looks to be ready to have this baby at any moment. (I'm sure that is how she feels also), while Roy'l is still a couple months from her due date.
Mikel and I stayed up at the lake an extra day after everyone else left. We've decided that it is our favorite thing to do. The crowds from the camp and lake go home and we were left with peace and quiet, not to mention a beautifully calm quiet lake also. We kept Eddie and Leann with us for the extra night, so they played, played and played some more. What a pair of sweet kiddos!
