Welcome Daniel Bradley Dover!

Today is an exciting day! I am a Nana again! Sarah and Cavan have a very handsome little boy as of 12:43 this morning. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 9 oz and is 19 1/2 inches long. What a sweet boy he is! Sarah was in labor all day yesterday and finally went to the hospital at about 8:30/9:00ish last night to sit in the labor tub. That did the trick, and helped move things along quickly. Roy'l and I arrived at about 12:00ish to find Sarah resting. The midwife came in to check her and found the baby's head crowning. One good push and Daniels head was out, and another half push and he was fully delivered. (No need for coaching this time!) Sarah was a trooper! Good job Cavan and Sarah! Daniel is definitely a keeper!

I took KaeLynn over to visit today so she could bond with her brother. At first, she was shy and wouldn't even look at her mommy or daddy, much less her brother. It took a few minutes of comparing her toes and fingers to Daniels for her to warm up a bit. Then she surprised us with "I need to hold him!" She inspected him from top to bottom. It was pretty cute! On our way back to our house, she kept saying, "I love my baby brother. He is so sweet!" She will be a wonderful big sister!
